Today I want to bring to your attention a book that may have little to do with programming, but ultimately there is very close.
After several years of writing code that could happen is given t the conduct of a project, maybe not as PM, but may weigh on your shoulders a certain share of responsibility.
Well this is the book that you must have the "drawer".
So simply and clearly explains the types of projects with which you have to do, as well as all the aspects that need to analyze and weigh the success of the final work.
Certainly you will find more detailed volumes in the library on the subject, but I swear that in these two hundred pages are about all the knowledge you need to understand what it means to manage a project, able to manage all aspects and get away from "time" of upper floors, without having to pay thousands of euros for a course that could insergnarvi little more of what these pages to put your attention.
Of course you'll need some practice to consolidate the teachings DiStefano, but I assure you risucirete to understand the mechanisms that lie behind the running of a project, and not try out the reasons for which these works often are unable to take to completion in an appropriate manner.
The book seems interesting, I guess I'll buy it as summer reading.
